INFOCOM

LISTENING AND COMUNICATION.

Listening affects all kind of communication.
From the time the alarm clock ring until the late news winds up, we are inundated with things to listen to as we proceed through our day and as we move from person to person, from class to lunch, from formal discussion to casual conversations, we are constantly called on to listen. We are expected to listen to others when ever we interact face-to-face with friends and acquaintances, use the telephone, attend meeting, participate in interviews, take part in arguments, give or receive instruction, make decisions based on information received orally, and generate and receive feedback.

The Ethics of Listening. While all of us continually engage in activities that require us to listen, some of us fail to pay enough attention to the role listening plays in these activities. The tragic shooting at educations however, should put us on notice that we need to listen to other. Listening as well as the failure has an impact on our relationships.
